Would you like to help support our program? There are many ways the community can support the operation of our program, including volunteer time, monetary donations for the use of general operating expenses, riding scholarships, horse sponsorships, and donations of various items used at the barn. If you are interested in donating, please contact Frances.
Become a Rider
All of our riders have documented disabilities and are required to fill out paperwork before they begin their lessons with us. Lesson times are subject to availability of horses, instructors, and volunteers. Give us a call today and come on by!
Volunteer with Us!
To become a volunteer, please call the barn to find out when volunteer training will be held next. When you come in for volunteer training, you will fill out some paperwork and be instructed on how to assist a therapeutic riding session. If you are interested in the different positions our volunteers hold, download the document below that explains a few of our opportunities for volunteers. All of our volunteers must be at least 10 years of age.
General Operating Cost Donation
These donations assist in everyday operations, including horse feed, stall shavings, and salaries. Any amount is appreciated!
Some of our riders need financial assistance for their therapeutic sessions. One 8-week session costs $300 and allows a student to ride once per week and have the opportunity to attend our horse shows, both at home and away.
Adopt a Horse
Each of our horses need food, bedding, and some extra TLC from time to time. Your donation would help to offset their costs and would be active for one 8-week session.
Are you doing some spring cleaning and found items that you’d like to donate to us? We always love gently used and new horse equipment, office equipment, toys, and clothing–-we even have a wish list!
Give a Horse
We are always looking for new horses for our program. If you would like to donate or lease a horse to us, please contact Frances. You will also need to fill out the form below. We would love to learn more about you and your horse. Please make sure that it is sound and has a sweet disposition!
