Volunteer with Us! |
To become a volunteer, please call the office and check on Volunteer Training dates. When you come in for Volunteer Training, you will fill out some paperwork and be instructed in how to assist a therapeutic riding session. If you are interested in the different positions our volunteers hold, download this document that explains a few of our opportunities for volunteers. All of our volunteers must be at least 10 years of age.

We are always looking for new horses for our program. If you would like to donate or lease a horse to us, please contact Kirsten McGee or Virginia Summerell at handsandhearts@rose.net and ask for a copy of our “Horse Donation Form” so that we can learn more about you and your horse. Please make sure that it is sound and has a sweet disposition!

Hands and Hearts for Horses |
Would you like to help support our program? There are many ways in which the community can support in the facilitation of our program including volunteer time, monetary donations for the use of general operating expenses, riding scholarships, horse sponsorships, and donations of various items to help our business grow. If you are interested in donating, please email Kirsten or Virginia at HandsandHearts@rose.net . |
This donation would assist in the everyday costs that we accrue through our barn from feed to shavings to paying our staff and can be for any amount. |
Each of our horses need food, bedding, and some extra TLC from time to time. Your donation would help to offset their costs and would be active for one 8 week session. The minimum suggested donation is $300. |
Are you doing some Spring Cleaning and find items that you’d like to donate to us? We always love gently used and new horse equipment, office equipment, toys, and clothing– we even have a wish list! |
Some of our riders need financial assistance for their therapeutic sessions. One 8 week session costs $300 and allows a student to ride once a week and have the opportunity to attend our horse shows, both at home and away. |
