CALLING ALL NEW & RETURNING VOLUNTEERS!
As we wrap up our Spring Lesson Session, we’re excited to transition into a busy and fun-filled June & July Summer Camp season at HHH.
We invite both prospective and returning volunteers to join us for our Summer Camp Volunteer Orientation & Training, a supportive introduction (or reintroduction) to our volunteer roles before camp begins.
During this training, you’ll learn:
• Safety protocols and barn expectations
• Roles as leader, sidewalker and arena support
• Camper support and equine-assisted learning activities
• Updated summer camp procedures and program needs
Summer Camps run Monday–Friday throughout June & July (except the week of June 29th-July 5th), with morning and afternoon opportunities available. Our camps bring together children with and without disabilities, offering opportunities to participate in riding and a variety of equine-related activities.
We welcome:
• Teens (12+) and adults
• Horse lovers and horse newbies
Just bring closed-toe shoes, an open mind and a giving heart.
🚫 Never Worked with Horses?
That’s exactly what we’re here for. Most of our best volunteers start right there. We’ll teach you everything you need to know, from safely walking beside a horse, to supporting a rider, to building confidence in the barn.
Already a volunteer?
This orientation is for you too! You’re encouraged to attend for refreshers, updates, and a chance to reconnect before camp begins.
To attend, please RSVP to volunteer@handsandheartsforhorses.com and complete a New Volunteer Application at:

If you’re unable to attend on this date, please email us to discuss alternate orientation options or getting started sooner.
We’re excited to welcome you to be a part of the Hands & Hearts community as we continue supporting our riders and horses together.
