school group partnership Program

We are proud to offer the School Group Partnership Program to schools with self-contained, special education classrooms. Lessons are scheduled during the school day and students are transported to HHH with their class for an hour and a half to two hour riding session. Teachers and students can continue their schoolwork in our air-conditioned classroom, while students learn to ride in small groups. Schools are required to provide their own transportation to and from Hands and Hearts for Horses.

How to get Started?

Teachers or school administrators -

Please call Hands & Hearts for Horses at 229-551-0086 or email Jilynn to discuss scheduling, participant paperwork and related fees. All School Group Participants are required to complete the same paperwork (see below) as therapeutic riding participants, including a medical release from a health professional.

Scholarships & fees -

Hands & Hearts for Horses has a fee of $20 per client per ride for school group participants to help cover the overhead of running the program. We encourage all schools to fundraise to help cover these fees. HHH does have one board awarded scholarship specifically for school groups as well as annual grants that are ear-marked for school groups based on their geographic location.
